School Readiness & FAQ

Enrollment is accepted year-round on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on  availability within your child’s age group and program. Families who wish to reserve a space  for a future start date must submit a completed Registration Packet along with the non refundable registration fee and one week’s tuition to hold the spot.

If a child does not begin attendance within the expected period, the prepaid tuition is  refundable only with a 30-day written notice of the family’s decision not to attend.

The registration package includes information on emergency contacts, medical history,  financial agreement, developmental history, immunization records, parent’s photos ID,  medical treatment consent, developmental screening consent, video/photo release, outside  food permission, transportation permission, childcare food program application, and other  facts about your child.

Schedule a Private Tour/Interview
We invite you to schedule a tour and interview so we can learn more about your child’s unique needs, share important details about our program, and show you around our facility. You're welcome to bring your child along to meet other children, explore the environment, experience our engaging activities, and get to know our warm, welcoming staff.

Please allow 30–45 minutes for your visit. This gives us enough time to thoroughly discuss your child’s needs, review program policies, and answer any questions you may have.

During the tour and interview, you will receive an enrollment folder and a comprehensive overview of our program to help you determine if we’re the right fit for your family. While we aim to meet with all interested families, please note that in some cases, openings may be filled before all scheduled interviews are completed.

Submit an Enrollment Application
Please advise that you intend to enroll your child within 24 hours of the interview and tour.
In order to reserve your child's space in the program, an Enrollment Application must be completed by parents or legal guardians and submitted, along with the $75 enrollment fee and deposit of the first week's tuition.
The enrollment fee and first week's tuition are non-refundable and will be forfeited if the child does not attend as scheduled.

After a 24-hour window has passed, other prospective families will be offered the opening. At this point the opening will be filled on a “first come, first served” basis, depending on which family submits the enrollment items first.

As confirmation of the child's enrollment, an “Enrollment Acceptance” will be completed and sent to parents. Enrollment is considered to begin on the date listed on the Enrollment Acceptance form and a place will be reserved for your child beginning on that date (as long as all fees and forms are received on time).

Finalize Enrollment Documentation
Complete your child's enrollment by submitting the proper enrollment forms. These have varying due dates; please complete, sign and submit each by the date listed on the form. In order to make certain that each child's file is complete and accurate, no child can be accepted for care without the proper forms on file and payment of the first week's tuition.
Finally, be sure to take time to read through and become familiar with the program policies contained in the Parent Handbook before your child's first day of attendance.

Funtastic Learning Academy uses a secure, automated billing system through ProCare and Tuition Express to ensure accuracy and convenience for families. Tuition is billed in advance, with weekly charges posted on Wednesdays and due by Friday for the following week, or monthly payments due on the first of each month. Payments not received on time will result in a $20 late fee, and tuition is non-refundable, although prepaid tuition may be applied to a child’s final week with administrative approval.

All families are required to enroll in Tuition Express and may pay by bank draft or credit or debit card, with applicable processing fees. Families are responsible for keeping their payment information current, and returned or declined payments are subject to a $25 fee.

Sibling discounts and promotional offers may be available depending on location and administrative approval. Families participating in VPK or School Readiness through the Early Learning Coalition of Seminole County may have up to three absences per month without documentation; after that, written documentation is required or parents are responsible for missed time, and attendance must be verified monthly.
